Tuition, living costs, post-study visa, and the labour market that decides whether the course paid for itself. We tell you before you commit. Not after.
How much will a Master’s in the UK really cost, all in?
Year one, end-to-end, typically lands between £36,000 and £48,000 depending on city, course and accommodation tier. The calculator above is what we use on the first call.
Is the Post-Study Work visa still two years?
Yes, 24 months for Master’s graduates (3 years for PhDs). Live and work in any role, at any salary, no sponsorship required during this window.
Will my course actually lead to a job in my field?
Depends on the course. Some have 80%+ graduate employment in the field; others under 30%. We tell you which is which, on the first call, before you’ve paid anything.
How early should I start? My intake is next year.
9-12 months out is comfortable. 6 months is workable. Under 4 months is hard: visa, deposit and accommodation each take 4-6 weeks at minimum.
Can my spouse or family come with me?
Dependent visas were restricted for Master’s students in 2024. PhD students can still bring dependents. We walk you through the current rules. They change.
What does working with Transitley cost?
First consultation is free. The full admissions service is paid by the student, not the university; so the advice points where it should, not where the commission is. Exact pricing is on the call.
Do you guarantee a visa or admission?
No. Anyone who does is lying. We guarantee the work that maximises your odds, application craft, university fit, visa file preparation, mock interviews, and a refund schedule if outcomes go sideways.
