Honestly answered
The questions we get most.
Public university or Grandes École?
Public unis: €3,770/yr non-EU. Grandes Écoles (business/engineering): €10,000-25,000. The Grandes École network often delivers better placement, if you can fund it.
What is Campus France and is it mandatory?
Yes for Indian students. Études en France portal handles application, interview and CEF (acceptance certificate). Visa appointment requires Campus France clearance.
How long is the APS post-study visa?
12 months after Master’s graduation to find skilled work or start a business. Converts to a work permit or Talent Passport on landing a qualifying role.
Do I need French language?
For English-taught Master’s, no formal requirement, but B1+ doubles your work-search rate. We map French requirements per course.
How early should I start?
Campus France opens Nov for following Sept intake. 10-14 months is comfortable. Visa appointment alone can take 4-8 weeks at peak.
